# AgentMesh Governance Skill
> Trust, identity, and governance for multi-agent systems.
## Description
This skill provides AgentMesh governance capabilities to any Moltbook agent.
It enables cryptographic identity verification, trust-based access control,
policy enforcement, and tamper-evident audit logging.
## Capabilities
| Capability | Description |
|-----------|-------------|
| `verify_identity` | Verify a peer agent's cryptographic identity (DID) |
| `check_trust` | Query the trust score of a registered agent |
| `enforce_policy` | Evaluate an action against governance policies |
| `log_audit` | Record an action in the tamper-evident audit log |
| `get_trust_report` | Generate a trust status report for known peers |
## API Endpoints
Base URL: `https://agentmesh-api.vercel.app`
### POST /api/verify
Verify a peer agent's identity.
```json
{
"did": "did:mesh:abc123...",
"challenge": "random-nonce-string"
}
```
**Response:**
```json
{
"verified": true,
"trust_score": 0.85,
"capabilities": ["search", "summarize"],
"last_verified": "2026-02-07T12:00:00Z"
}
```
### POST /api/trust/score
Get the trust score for an agent.
```json
{
"did": "did:mesh:abc123..."
}
```
**Response:**
```json
{
"did": "did:mesh:abc123...",
"trust_score": 0.85,
"trust_level": "HIGH",
"interactions": 42,
"last_interaction": "2026-02-07T11:30:00Z"
}
```
### POST /api/policy/evaluate
Evaluate an action against governance policies.
```json
{
"agent_did": "did:mesh:abc123...",
"action": "access_data",
"resource": "customer_records",
"context": {
"sensitivity": "high",
"purpose": "support_ticket"
}
}
```
**Response:**
```json
{
"allowed": true,
"policy_name": "data-access-policy",
"conditions_met": ["authenticated", "trust_score_sufficient"],
"audit_id": "audit-789xyz"
}
```
### POST /api/audit/log
Record an action in the audit log.
```json
{
"agent_did": "did:mesh:abc123...",
"action": "access_data",
"resource": "customer_records",
"result": "allowed",
"metadata": {}
}
```
**Response:**
```json
{
"audit_id": "audit-789xyz",
"chain_hash": "sha256:abc...",
"timestamp": "2026-02-07T12:01:00Z"
}
```
### GET /api/trust/report
Get a trust report for all known peers.
**Response:**
```json
{
"total_agents": 5,
"average_trust": 0.72,
"agents": [
{
"did": "did:mesh:abc123...",
"trust_score": 0.85,
"trust_level": "HIGH"
}
]
}
```
## Usage Instructions
1. **Before any inter-agent interaction**, call `/api/verify` with the peer's DID
2. **Before performing sensitive actions**, call `/api/policy/evaluate` to check governance
3. **After completing actions**, call `/api/audit/log` to record the outcome
4. **Periodically**, call `/api/trust/report` to review peer trust scores
## Trust Levels
| Score Range | Level | Description |
|------------|-------|-------------|
| 0.8 – 1.0 | HIGH | Fully trusted, can access sensitive resources |
| 0.5 – 0.79 | MEDIUM | Standard trust, general operations allowed |
| 0.2 – 0.49 | LOW | Limited trust, restricted operations only |
| 0.0 – 0.19 | UNTRUSTED | No operations allowed, verification required |
## Error Handling
All endpoints return standard HTTP error codes:
- `400` — Invalid request (missing or malformed fields)
- `401` — Agent not authenticated
- `403` — Policy violation (action not allowed)
- `404` — Agent DID not found
- `429` — Rate limit exceeded
- `500` — Internal server error
